Women & Alzheimer’s: The Empowerment Forum 2022
Held on October 18, 2022 at the Whittemore House in Washington, DC, this forum helped provide women with up-to-date, practical skills and information to live a higher quality of life and deliver better care, as well as reduce risk through social change. Guest speakers included family and professional caregivers and medical and dementia care experts who shared their expertise to give participants a better understanding of the increased risk to women, to prepare them for the caregiving journey, and encourage them to speak up, address their concerns and have their questions answered.
