AFA’s professional trainings and educational workshops will help you to develop the expertise and skills needed to be the best dementia care partner you can be. Whether you’ve worked in dementia care for decades, are looking to make a career change, or are an emerging professional, we have trainings for you.
AFA facilitators utilize case studies, role play, and experiential activities to ensure full understanding of content. Professional training and educational workshops can be customized to meet needs of your organization or care team. Workshops are ideal for professional schools (e.g., nursing, social work), hospitals, home care agencies, residential care facilities, retail stores and a variety of other settings.
AFA’s Continuing Education Workshops offer continuing education (CE) credits to licensed social workers, certified case managers, and other professionals in ALL 50 STATES!

Cancellation policy for all educational programming
AFA encourages participants to make every effort to attend paid events for which they have registered. Cancellations must be requested at least 24 hours prior to the start of the program in order to be eligible for a refund. This includes training and workshops,. Refunds will not be given for no-shows.
