Mary Correia
Mary Correia (She/Her/Hers) is the Director of Finance, responsible for overseeing the financial operations and planning of AFA. Her goal is to create a productive and welcoming work environment that allows for new procedures that enhance compliance and proper internal controls. She joined AFA in 2014 as a Staff Accountant and was promoted to Senior Accountant, collaborating directly with the Director of Finance. She began her career in nonprofit organizations in Newark where she implemented the policy and procedures for the accounting department. When not at work, Mary likes to go ballroom dancing with her husband and travel, especially to New Hampshire to visit her grandson.
