Creating Found Object Art in 2D: During this virtual community class series, Marnie will guide you through an art experiential process which promotes creativity, spontaneity and being mindful and in the moment. You will be invited to trace one or more everyday found objects with oil pastels on paper multiple times, and then watercolor paint over the shapes/ imagery that you will be creating with your object to see them emerge. The intention is to find a new perspective through your art, to release stress and have fun in the process. No prior art making experience needed! Just bring yourself and the supplies listed above.

Art supplies needed:

• Oil pastels
• Watercolor paints
• A container filled with water
• Paper towels and a couple of interesting household objects such as a cup
• A key
• A kitchen utensil
• A coaster
• A seashell or even a large coin for tracing
