People with a familial genetic predisposition to Alzheimer’s disease often develop Alzheimer’s at an earlier age than the general population. Individuals living with Down syndrome are also genetically predisposed to young-onset Alzheimer’s disease. This webinar will describe the link between Alzheimer’s disease and Down syndrome, how positive lifestyle choices lengthen lifespans for individuals living with these conditions, and what that link can teach us to help reduce everyone’s risk of developing Alzheimer’s.
