Art with Rebecca

Join Master of Arts in Art Therapy & Counseling (MAATC) student, Rebecca Tudor, for a virtual art experience! Rebecca is a professional artist and graphic designer. You will learn how to create and decorate a simple “pinch pot” using air-dry clay. The lesson will cover a few different techniques, such as carving, creating attachments (handle or base), and adding embellishments. After the clay dries, we will paint and glaze it. Let’s get creative and make some art!

Materials List:
Air dry clay, acrylic paint, paint brushes, gloss glaze such as Mod Podge, plastic tablecloth or table covering, paint palette or paper plate, cup of water, clay tool set/kit (optional; instead, you may use household items such as toothpicks, plastic forks/knives, straws, sponges, old toothbrushes, knitting needles, or any items that can make marks in the clay.
