AFA CARE CONNECTION WEBINAR-APRIL

April 11 @ 1:00 pm 2:00 pm EDT

Knowledge is power in setting yourself up for success regarding senior living. This presentation will cover topics that Diane Trunecek has heard clients say that they wish they would have known years before they started looking into care options. Had they known some of the nuances that come with getting care as they age, they say that they would have taken action earlier to get their “ducks in a row.” This could have made a huge difference in the quality, type of care and lifestyle that they were able to choose for themselves and/or a loved one.

She will also cover professionals you should consider speaking with along your journey, care options and levels (e.g., memory care senior living communities vs. home care vs. skilled nursing), and some pros and cons of different care options from previous clients’ feedback, as well as the age-old question, “When is the right time to transition my loved one into Memory Care?”

Learn about AFA’s EIC Program

AFA understands that the process for finding a trusted care setting for your loved one can be overwhelming, and we want to simplify the process for you. AFA’s Excellence in Care (EIC) program certifies memory care settings across the country based on a standard of excellence in dementia care. AFA evaluates care settings in person on the policies and protocols that promote the health, safety, and well-being of individuals living with dementia.
