Volunteer as an Alzheimer’s Awareness Scholarship Essay Reader

The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America is currently accepting submissions to the annual Teen Alzheimer’s Awareness Scholarship. As AFA receives essays from college bound high schoolers who have been affected by Alzheimer’s, the need for volunteers to help read and review increases.

AFA is asking for your help to read these heartfelt stories from teens who have experienced Alzheimer’s disease and who are brave enough to share their story with others.

Volunteers receive 10 essays and reading these essays takes an hour or so of your time, but the heartfelt reward lasts so much longer.  If you’d like to volunteer to read and review, please fill out the form below, or contact us at membership@alzfdn.org.

If you know a high school senior who would like to submit an essay, please direct them here.
