NYC Memory Screening and Brain Health Educational Program
October 16, 2024 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm EDT
AFA Education & Resource Center
322 8th Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001

The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA), New York City Councilmember Erik Bottcher, and New York State Senator Brad Hoylman-Sigal are partnering together to provide a free memory screening and brain health educational program for New York City residents. Participants will be able to receive free, confidential memory screenings (no minimum age or insurance prerequisites), as well as learn about steps they can take to improve their brain health and reduce their risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia-related illness; dementia warning signs; and the benefits of early detection through a 30-minute workshop.
Information about free community programming and services available through AFA will also be offered.
There will be two sessions: 10 am to 12 pm, and 12 pm to 2 pm.
Register to attend by filling out the form below and selecting the session which you would like to attend.
Registration for this event is at capacity. Please check back soon for any updates. If you have already registered and cannot attend, please notify AFA so that we can make room for another attendee.
