November 16, 2017 @ 1:30 pm - 2:00 pm EST

Individuals living with dementia can become immersed in their past lives as part of this illness.  When those individuals are veterans affected by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), special consideration must be given as to how symptoms can present themselves.  Within this presentation, we will explore how to work with individuals living with dementia who have PTSD and learn to better identify and assist with the behaviors that can manifest as a result.
