Brain Health Awareness For Veterans

Veterans may be at a higher risk for dementia based on their military experiences. A traumatic brain injury (TBI), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression or being a Prisoner of War can all increase the risk of developing dementia. The risk of dementia also increases as we age.

To help serve those who have served us, AFA is launching a nationwide “Brain Health Awareness for Veterans” program to empower veterans and their families with information and facts to understand dementia, be proactive about brain health, and learn about services and benefits available to help.

Veterans and their family members are invited to participate in the free webinars. Click below to learn more about, and register for, each event.
