Virtual Professional Training: Understanding the Path of Those Who Wander

May 11, 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm EDT

During this professional training webinar, participants will build upon their knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and explore symptoms that can lead a person to go out in search of something outside of their current setting.  Participants will have the opportunity to explore what it may be like to walk in the shoes of a wanderer, in an effort to build empathy and insight into this behavior. This workshop will also teach participants how to identify signs and symptoms that can lead to a challenge, and strategies to better engage the individual in meaningful living that provides purpose to reduce risk and increase safety.
