This workshop will explore the different types of relationships that may be present in the life of an individual living with dementia. A review of family dynamics and exploration of how to identify and assess these dynamics will be reviewed. Additionally, we will explore different ways the care partner can work with families, understand their emotions and feelings, and effectively communicate with them to ensure meaningful living and quality of life is achieved for both the individual living with the illness and the family member.
