This event is open to all individuals interested in learning more about the history of public health and how public health impacts dementia care.

Learn about the history of public health and the birth of epidemiology
Understand dementia as a public health issue, by examining how the 3 pillars of public health (surveillance, risk reduction, and early detection) can impact dementia care
Use popular public health theories to understand how we can implement person-centered care and make public health a priority in our everyday lives
