Join Monique & Stephen from SoulWorks Rhythm® for a music experience filled with rhythm and creative music-making! Therapeutic rhythm-making is a versatile, easily accessible, fun way to reduce stress, boost the immune system and increase socialization. Programs are designed to engage participants in their creativity, foster physical activity through arm movement, foot tapping and smiling, and release stress by providing a nonthreatening outlet for emotional expression. All of this can be accomplished by using common household items as instruments. And, of course, drums are welcome, too! In this session, we will explore “Dance Beats to Celebrate National Dance Day.”
