Join Sallie Stutz, a horticultural therapist, for a virtual gardening activity. In this virtual class, you will learn about Pansies and their relatives. It is one of the first Spring flowers and their colorful cheery faces have so much to offer all through the Year. Not only is it adorable to look at, but edible too. Basic plant and planting information, its unique characteristics and their native environments will be discussed. The participants will also learn how to plant/transplant one and how to care for it.

Materials needed: 

• Tray or Newspapers
• Spring stem flowers in greens
• Vase 6-8”
• Clippers
• Bleach
• Optional: small Watering can or pitcher
