Join Sallie Stutz, a horticultural therapist, for a virtual gardening activity. You will learn about pansies and their variants. It is one of the first spring flowers and their colorful cheery petals have so much to offer all throughout the year. Not only are they beautiful but they are edible too! Also, Sallie will inform you about basic plant facts and planting information, its unique characteristics and their native environments. The participants will also learn how to plant/transplant one and how to care for it.

Supplies: 

• Tray
• Pansy plant
• Container dish or pot-4-10”
• Potting soil
• Spoon or scoop
• Saucer or small plate
• Plant label with pen
• Small watering can or pitcher
