Join Long Island-based artist and arts educator, Nicole Raneri,  for a virtual art class. This class will show you how you can shift your perspective, and turn your surroundings into a work of art! During this virtual community class, you will learn basic symmetry, when cutting out simple shapes and designs using paper and scissors. Once completed, you will guide your drawings throughout the space (indoors or outdoors) to discover the different patterns and textures hidden in your environment. Choosing patterns that catch your eye, you will then place the paper cutout over the surface to fill the empty space of your design.

Supplies: White paper, scissors, pencil
