Virtual Community Class: Art with Alix

June 22, 2020 @ 2:30 pm EDT

A Mindful Approach to Creating Sunprints – Join Alix Sugarman, MPS, LCAT, ATR-BC for an eye-opening virtual art therapy session. In this virtual art therapy session, Alix will guide you through the process of creating Cyanotypes. Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print. Engineers used the process well into the 20th century as a simple and low-cost process to produce copies of drawings, referred to as blueprints.

Materials: A Sunprint Kit,  includes paper and a piece of acrylic plastic to hold the paper flat during exposure.

To protect the health and safety of our participants and staff during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, AFA’s community classes will be held online through our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/alzheimersfoundationofamerica.  Visit the page at the listed event date/time to take part.
