Recognizing and Remediating Compassion Fatigue
1 CE credit available to NY Licensed Social Workers
The helping professions have been sorely tested by the outbreak of COVID. We are in the forefront of supporting clients impacted by illness, environment, and socio-economic factors–but at what cost to ourselves? This workshop will teach attendees how to:
- Identify the difference between compassion fatigue and burnout
- Address compassion fatigue in positive ways
- Practice ongoing self-care techniques to strengthen work productivity and overall wellbeing
In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in peer groups to share their own challenges over the past few years and share useful coping strategies.
Registration is required by 5pm Wednesday, July 27th.
To ensure everyone’s safety, we are only able to offer 25 spots!
