Care Connection Sunset Series: Psychological Disorders in Older Adults: Approaches to Assessment and Treatment

During this presentation, participants will gain a better understanding of the most common psychological disorders amongst older adults. We will explore the risks as well as the protective factors related to mental illness in older adults, and methods to assess and treat. Strategies towards overall “successful aging” will also be reviewed to ensure we can continue to provide meaningful living and quality of life for the older adults with whom we work.
