Join AFA’s recreational therapist Jackie for an afternoon, low-impact rhythmic fitness class to wake you up and energize your day! Driven by the familiar music from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s, this group will target all major muscle groups, while focusing on range of motion, strength, posture, and fun! In this fitness class, participants will create rhythms using drum sticks, while using familiar music as a guide. This fitness group will encourage stamina, improve flexibility, and focus through the use of steady beats. Wear comfortable/loose fitted clothing and sneakers, and join us for a rhythm-filled morning of fitness! No prior fitness experience required.
