After identifying the barriers our patients encounter when attempting to read, Reading2Connect experimented with a variety of modifications to text, language, graphic layout, content and illustrations to increase the readability of printed material for seniors.

Applying these adaptations, Reading2Connect developed a collection of short books/articles that most memory-challenged seniors can enjoy independently.

Today, we’ll read and discuss 3 adapted books. By the end of the session, we hope older adults can genuinely express themselves, recall treasured memories, and connect deeply with others.
