Join Marie McLaughlin for a virtual art experience! You will create a watercolor picture through the application of Saran wrap. Adhering crinkled-up Saran wrap to wet watercolor creates eye-catching textures from the impression of the material. Once the Saran wrap is removed, you will be encouraged to tweak your paintings by embellishing any shapes that emerge. This exercise will encourage you to let go and watch the materials do the work, while having fun using an ordinary item in a new way.

Materials needed: watercolor paper, watercolor brushes, cup for brushes, Saran wrap, and (optional) charcoal pencil.
