AFA Care Connection Community Class: An Afternoon of Music with Allison Reynolds

Join AFA and Allison Reynolds for an afternoon of music. Participants will learn about the benefits of Music Therapy as well as experience firsthand how music can:
- Stimulate cognition and memory, through awakening various areas of the brain
- Improve communication
- Bring a sense of community/belonging
- Combat signs/symptoms of depression and/or anxiety and help stabilize moods
- Enhance a person’s quality of life
- Foster a person’s motivation, sense of independence and control
