Cooking with Melissa: Snack Your Way to A Healthy Heart

Join Recreational Therapist Melissa Gallagher-Cashman for a 4-part virtual cooking class series! Melissa will show you how heart-healthy ingredients can be both delicious and easy to make! You will practice mindfulness, heighten your senses, and recall past memories. In this class you will make dark chocolate and oat clusters and Cheerio’s snack mix. Grab your measuring spoons and join AFA for “Cooking with Melissa”!

List of ingredients:
Dark Chocolate & Oat Clusters
2 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tablespoons 1% low fat milk or almond milk
¼ cup semisweet chocolate chips (or dark chocolate)
¾ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
Cheerios Snack Mix
8 cups Honey Nut Cheerios
2 cups sea salt whole almonds
1 ½ cup dried blueberries
1 ½ cup golden raisins
1 ½ cup dried cranberries
