AFA Rings NASDAQ Opening Bell
The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA), a non-profit organization that unites more than 2,600 member organizations nationwide with the goal of providing optimal care and services to individuals living with dementia and their families, today was invited to Nasdaq in Times Square in honor of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month.
AFA’s Founder and Board Chairman, Bert Brodksy, and Charles Fuschillo, Jr., AFA’s President and CEO, rang the opening bell, signaling the start of the trading day.
“It was truly an honor to ring the Nasdaq opening bell,” said Bert Brodsky. “We are also truly grateful to Nasdaq to allow us to raise Alzheimer’s awareness on a national level, and let people know that they can turn to AFA for support.”
Steven Brown, Managing Director at Nasdaq, said, “We are very proud to honor everyone at the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America for all of the incredible and meaningful work that you do.”
