Hi, Jackie, Happy Monday!
Can you address what activities could be available for low vision people at their nursing homes or assisted living centers. It seems that most activities are geared towards those who have strong vision and coordination for cutting, glueing or manipulating materials. Often one on one activities are not offered so many older people just sit and continue to be bored.

Understanding the triggers will help you better manage them.

Thank you for sharing. My heart goes out to you. Your are most definitely a great daughter - he knows that where it matters in his heart.
I follow them and it's an incredible story. She's an amazing beautiful daughter and caregiver 💜
Such a insidious disease my husband had early onset dementia started in his 50's he had it 13 years I was lucky he always greeted me w/ smiles he knew I was someone who loved him. Yet did not know my or his name one must never take what they do or say personally, it is not there fault.
Beautiful! You take moments like this & hold it dear to your heart.❤️ my Mom had dementia heart wrenching.Miss her.🙏❤️
I’m dying 😭😭😭😭
Such a beautiful testament to his daughter!
I think this is the saddest thing a family can go through. My mom forgot alot of things but she still knew me till the end. Cherish every memory you have of loved ones.
God bless you. My Dad lived this horrible disease for years and my Mom cared for him at home until he was moved to a nursing home. It’s terribly sad because I saw her age ten years during that time. It’s heartbreaking when your loved one looks you in the eyes and they have no clue who you are.
I just found out that I have dementia. Some memory loss. I don't like it at all. I'm slower at doing and saying things now. I'm trying to keep myself together. It's scary too🥺... Thank goodness l have my daughter here with me. 😊☺️🥹... I just hope and pray 🙏 that when l do get worse, I'm not a burden to my daughter. 🥺💕
Sending hugs and love, this disease is so horrible.
This was my experience too. My husband’s disease took him in about five years, and though he talked about me a lot, he thought my presence was that of “an evil caretaker”.
It sure does praying for all who suffer diseases of the brain .
Heartbreaking 🥹
Beautiful
Very poignant....such a horrible disease.
It hurts so much...every single day...😩
